Sprayed Paper Objects
吹き付け和紙は和紙製造に用いられる楮等にCMCゲルを添加した素材でスプレーガンを使用し様々な対象物を和紙でコーティングできる。現在すでに建築内装材や家具の一部に塗装材として利用されているが、多くが均一な和紙コーティングを施す為だけに用いられており吹き付け和紙の特性を十分に活かした製品への展開が行われているとは言い難い状況である。本研究では吹き付け和紙の新たな表現を開発するために、様々な素材への吹き付け試験により特性の整理を行い、ポーチ、ぬいぐるみ、器、花器の5種類のプロダクトを制作した。
Sprayable Japanese paper is a material which is mainly made from paper mulberries, CMC gels and water.You can coat anything with Japanese paper by spraying this material.It is already used to paint inner walls of buildings and a part of furnitures for commercial purposes, but it is not used for a variety of purposes so that the good points of the material are expressed perfectly.The purpose of this project is to develop new expressions of sprayable Japanese paper.From studies of the material, the characteristics of it are arranged,and five kinds of products are produced as examples of the characteristics.
